The staff for the anime adaptation of Kentarou's manga From Overshadowed to Overpowered revealed that Sora Amamiya will voice Tatiana, Anastasia's older sister. The character will appear in the anime's eighth episode on August 19. The anime premiered on various streaming services in Japan in June and July, and Crunchyroll is streaming it simultaneously with the Japanese broadcast. The cast includes Shūichirō Umeda, Reo Osanai, Haruka Shiraishi, Hiroki Tōchi, Ayaka Fukuhara, Emiri Katō, Daisuke Hirakawa, Shinichirō Kamio, Rina Kawaguchi, and Hiroki Takahashi. Hisashi Ishii is directing the anime at EMT Squared, with Deko Akao supervising the scripts. Hideki Furukawa is designing the characters. Rock band FLOW performs the opening theme song, and TrySail performs the ending theme song. Comikey is releasing the manga in English, and it is also available through Square Enix's Manga UP! Global service. The story follows Ephtal, who is reincarnated as a human in a world where magic is real, despite being talentless in magic. The manga is based on Arata Shiraishi's light novel series, and the anime is adapting Kentarou's manga.
